How to Use the Punch Clock in the Augwa App

Purpose

This guide shows cleaning staff how to use the Punch Clock feature in the Augwa App to clock in and out of shifts, track breaks, meals, and travel—ensuring accurate time tracking and smoother payroll processing.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open the Augwa App.
    From the main dashboard, tap “Clock In” to begin tracking your work time.

  2. Track your shift activities.
    After clocking in, three additional options will appear:

    • Start Break – Tap to begin your break. Tap again when you're ready to return.

    • Start Meal – Use this to track your mealtime.

    • Start Travel – Track your travel time if it's part of your shift.

  3. View your scheduled jobs.
    Just below the time clock, you’ll see a list of any upcoming scheduled jobs.

    • Tap on a job to start it directly from this screen.

  4. Clock out at the end of your shift.
    When you're finished working, tap “Clock Out” to stop tracking time.

That’s it!
With just a few taps, you can clock in, log your breaks and travel, and clock out—all in one place. This helps keep your time organized and improves payroll accuracy.
